The weather has been so cold, i haven’t been interested in going out. To occupy some of my time, i began to fiddle around writing a Parody(lan) for our next BobFest, written for the tune of “Don’t Think Twice”. It’s very likely that things will change sufficiently between now and late May that i’ll have to do a substantial rewrite for BobFest, or maybe write another one, but i like the way this one came together so easily and the way that it pretty well describes the current situation (early January 2018). Hence i decided to go ahead and publish it.
Since writing the above, i did sing it at BobFest 2018, without significant change, and have added the audio file. Bruce particularly likes it — says it’s my best parodylan yet. I don’t know that i would go that far (i may like “Just Like a Frat Boy” better), but i think it did turn out pretty well.
