Ukuleles

I tried a couple of tenor ukuleles mostly out of curiosity.  They were okay, but playing a uke didn’t really grab me, so i sold them.

Then i tried a Romero Creations DHo 6 baritone-size guilele.  I liked the tone of it a lot — enough to give it the name “Molasses” and to use it for a couple of songs on my first two CDs.  I had never bonded with nylon string guitars, but had a different response to flurocarbon strings. I kept it for a year or two, but then sold it.  I’m not really sure why, though in part it must have been because i wasn’t playing it as much as my steel string guitars.

In any event, GAS struck again, and i bought the two instruments below:
